Where do I start?
  1. Organize a STEM committee or team at your school & schedule a meeting with district staff. 
  2. Review the Bartow STEM criteria (Bartow STEM Indicators). 
  3. Determine a method to collect evidence for each of the criteria listed on the Bartow STEM Instruction “Look Fors” document. This is your portfolio.
  4. Identify professional learning opportunities available for your staff.
  • Visits to other schools that have integrated STEM effectively into instruction.
  • Look at existing instructional practices.  Identify those that align.
